Line Edit

This micro-level edit will look beyond the content of your story to assess the quality of your prose. Ideal for writers who are happy with all the story elements of their project, this edit will consider stylistic choices including tone, sentence structure, word choice, and grammar and punctuation. I will consider writing-adjacent factors like target audience and genre expectation to determine if every word in your story contributes to your goal and provides maximum impact.

Line edits are available for full or partial manuscripts.

NOTE: Line edits do not assess story elements like character and plot development. I strongly advise solidifying your story content before soliciting a line edit.

Pricing:

• $40 per hour
• Minimum 10,000 words (40 pages)

All submissions must be in standard manuscript format: 12-point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, 1-inch margins.
